Corporate Responsibility

That includes our commitments to the communities in which we operate. InComm donates time and resources to a number of non-profit organizations to help make life better for others. Some initiatives we have undertaken recently include donating gift cards to disaster organizations to aid in cleanup efforts, gifting prepaid cards to educators for purchasing classroom supplies and developing solutions that help the under-banked gain access to banking products and services they need. We will continue finding new challenges and working to foster change.

Partners for Care

The mission of Partners for Care is to partner with those other individuals, organizations and agencies to eliminate the spread and effects of HIV/AIDS
and other preventable diseases. The organization
is currently focusing all of its efforts and resources on these issues within the East African nation
of Kenya.

InComm helps support Partners for Care through assistance with medical, sports, and education initiatives. Almost 500 children under the age of five die of preventable causes each day in this country; the Kenyan PFC team is making a difference in the lives of those who need it most. All of the group’s programs are devoted to making a significant impact in the battle to reduce this startling number.

habitat for humanity

In the United States alone, 95 million people have housing problems that include overcrowding, poor quality shelter and homelessness. Clean, stable housing provides more than just a roof over someone’s head – it provides stability for families,
a sense of dignity and pride, and increased physical safety, and security.

InComm believes in the transformational qualities
of good housing, and we have made Habitat for Humanity one of the recipients of our donations of time and gift card resources. By providing clean, warm housing, we assist in the prevention and care of diseases of poverty like HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, diarrhea, and malaria.

American cancer society

Half of all men and one-third of all women in the US will develop cancer during their lifetimes. But there’s good news: the risk of developing many types of cancer can be reduced by changes in lifestyle such as staying away from tobacco, limiting time in the sun, being physically active and healthy eating. Early screening is important, too; the earlier a cancer is found and treated, the better the chances are of beating it.

By donating time and resources to the American Cancer Society, employees at InComm make a meaningful difference in our community by
helping cancer patients and their families,
as well as communicating risk factors and early screening information.

Medshare

Another of the groups InComm is proud to support is MedShare, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the environment and healthcare through the efficient recovery and redistribution of surplus medical supplies and equipment to underserved healthcare facilities in developing countries.

With help from InComm and other corporate sponsors, shipments of medical supplies and equipment have brought healing and the promise of better lives to more than 85 countries and countless patients. MedShare is a top-ranked charity by Charity Navigator, and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with a second distribution center in San Leandro, California.

Oxford House

Oxford House is a non-profit organization helping people with drug and alcohol addictions recover in a democratically run, self-supporting and drug-free home. With donations from individuals and companies like InComm, the men and women in each house are able to support one another in their recovery efforts through community service and group activities.

InComm has helped open three houses in the Greater Atlanta area, and these houses make up a local Oxford House chapter. Representatives from each House meet on a monthly basis to exchange information, seek resolution of any issues and to vote on larger program initiatives.

Kaboom

KaBOOM! is a national non-profit dedicated to saving play for America's children. The mission
of the organization is to create great play spaces through the participation and leadership of communities and organizations such as InComm. Ultimately, KaBOOM! would like to see
a place to play within walking distance of every child in America.

The organization joins with corporate partners in cities and towns across North America to create playgrounds. InComm is proud to help support these worthwhile efforts on behalf of our children.

Hosea Feed the Hungry & Homeless

Hosea Feed the Hungry’s Healthy Living Initiative manages the emergency distribution of nutritious food to over 6,000 poor children and families, as well as monthly distribution of food to 600 homeless living outdoors in camps; offers Sunday morning brunch and counseling services in downtown Atlanta; and delivers 22,000 meals to senior citizens' homes annually.

The group also provides additional services such as medical assistance, legal aid, clothing and toiletry items, hot showers and barber and beautician services. With gift card donations from InComm,
the group is able to continue its mission to feed, clothe and provide for thousands of hungry and homeless Atlantans.

the Atlanta Community Food Bank

Founded in 1979, the Atlanta Community Food Bank currently distributes over 30 million pounds of food and other donated grocery items each year to more than 700 non-profit partner agencies in 38 counties in metro Atlanta and North Georgia.
Food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers are among the agencies that receive food and other critical resources.

As a way of giving back to the community, InComm partners with the Food Bank by donating gift cards and other resources to help promote the vital work of this organization.
