Important

To ensure your setup is completed successfully, you must follow the instructions below exactly as shown, and in the order provided. Deviation from this guide will produce issues, resulting in a loss of productivity on your first day.

Connect your power supply or monitor (if available) to your computer.

Press the Power button in the top row of the keyboard to turn on your laptop.

If prompted, select the appropriate Language, and click Next.

Select your Region and click Yes.

Select the appropriate Keyboard layout and click Yes.

When prompted to add a Second keyboard layout, click Skip.

Choose the appropriate wireless network and click Connect.

If you are on a wired connection, skip ahead.

Enter the network security key, or password, and click Next.

When the laptop is connected to the network, Click Next to continue setup.

If you are on a wired connection, continue to skip ahead.

Enter the Temporary Password you received in the email from our Help Desk and click Sign in.

Your laptop will begin Setting up your device for work and automatically restart once the process is complete.

Do not continue until this configuration end.

Configuration can take up to 15 minutes and you may be prompted to sign-in again.

Click the screen, or press the Enter key to continue, when the above screen appears.

Click OK to accept the InComm Legal Notice.

Enter your InComm Payments Email Address and Password. Then click the Arrow or press Enter to continue.

Various messages will display on the screen as the setup process automatically continues.

Face Recognition Setup

Click "Yes, Set up" to setup Windows Face Recognition.

Position your face in the frame until it is recognized. The setup will automatically continue to the next screen.

Windows Hello Sign in Option

Click OK to set up Microsoft Authenticator.

As part of your laptop setup, you will need the Microsoft Authenticator app on your cell phone to verify your identity using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Click on App Store for iPhone and Google play for Android to download the app.

Click Next for More information required.

Click Next to Start by getting Microsoft Authenticator app.

You installed it on your cell phone at the start of this guide.

To continue, you will need your cell phone with the Authenticator app installed.

  1. Open the Authenticator app on your cell phone.
  2. Tap I agree.
  3. Tap Scan a QR code.
  4. If prompted, tap Allow for Authenticator to take pictures and record video.
  5. The Authenticator app will automatically open a scanning screen on your phone.

On your laptop, click Next to continue the setup.

On your phone, the Authenticator app temporarily displays Account added successfully.

On your laptop, you will see a number that you need to enter into the Authenticator app.

After entering the number, tab Yes.

Click Next on your laptop.

If prompted, tap OK on your phone for App Lock enabled. You also may need to enter your phone password.

On your laptop, click Next for Notification approved.

Setup a PIN

Click OK to set up Windows PIN.

Set up a PIN by entering a Windows PIN (six characters or more) twice, then click OK.

Click OK for the All set! notification.

Verify that the computer name starts with AAD. To verify, click on your Start Menu> Settings> System> About.

*Note: If it does not begin with AAD please contact the Help Desk immediately for assistance with resetting the machine. You can reach the Help Desk at 678-265-3045.

Click the Start Menu and launch Outlook.

If prompted, click Accept to Accept the license agreement.

If prompted, click OK for Product Activated.

On the left side, click Windows Update.

Click Check for Updates.

If you require additional applications that were not installed during the Autopilot process, type Company Portal in the Search Box and click the app icon or Open.

In the left-side navigation panel, use Search for apps or the navigation links to locate the app you require.
