InComm Payments is turning thirty and going strong
When you move as fast as we do, the milestones can really sneak up on you. But the math checks out – Brooks Smith founded InComm Payments, then InComm, as a prepaid long-distance card company back in 1992, which means this year is our thirtieth anniversary. That’s three decades in which we’ve amassed over 400 patents (and counting), gone global (with offices in 34 countries), partnered with over 1,000 brands grown to manage over $50 billion in annual transaction volume, and influenced the gift card and payment industry while keeping customers connected to the brands, products and services they love.
We’re excited to celebrate our thirty years of innovating, collaborating, and empowering our partners in the payments space. It’s been an honor serving them and their customers, helping ensure seamless transactions and facilitating access to the products and services consumers want, need and use on a daily basis. We’re thrilled to grow and explore new directions every year, helping our partners satisfy their customers in more ways, with greater convenience, through the power of a single integration.
Our leaders discuss how innovation drives our past, present and future
InComm Payments isn’t a company that’s willing to rest on its legacy of innovation, either. Our thirty-year celebration is one of looking forward to the possibilities tomorrow holds, the solutions we can’t wait to discover, ideas we’re excited to explore, and the partnerships we’re honored to strengthen every day. In just the last few years we launched our in-house innovation hub, Go Studio, extended our reach in spaces like lottery and loyalty and incentives, and helped expand in-store consumer payment options – and we’re already at work supporting the next big things in payments, such as cryptocurrencies, QR codes and beyond. Whatever the future of payments holds, you’ll find us connecting, supporting, innovating and inspiring, because for thirty years and counting, wherever payments happen, we’re there.
