Employee wellbeing is a priority for our teams here at InComm Payments. It is also the mission of LiveWell, a comprehensive wellness initiative designed to support employee health and happiness both in and out of the office. Our LiveWell team helps InComm Payments team members from around the world gather to embark on personal wellness journeys, attend virtual meetups to learn about the latest healthy living best practices, and even support causes dedicated to improving our communities. 

One example of the ways our employee community comes together is our annual LiveWell Global 5k Challenge. Beginning in early August and running through early October, employees from around the world embark on a wellness journey together, participating in training exercises in anticipation of a 5k they can run, walk, stroll or roll at their own pace alongside fellow teammates. And it’s all in support of a great cause – 100% of race registration fees for employees, family and friends are donated to partner organizations supporting different causes important to our communities. 

Ready to Thrive in 2025

Today, all eyes are on the 2025 LiveWell 5k, which is only weeks away and supports Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C). Our motto this year is “Moving Foward to Give Back” with 100% of employee donations going to SU2C’s groundbreaking cancer research and support services.  

The 2025 LiveWell 5k is just the latest initiative that the LiveWell team has offered for employee wellness in 2025. The year started off with the LiveWell Champions initiative. With a mission to grow employee support, a group of dedicated ambassadors, known as LiveWell Champions, have been empowered to bring wellness news to their work teams and departments. The LiveWell Champions have been invaluable in championing challenges including the recent “1000 Reasons to Invest in Yourself Challenge” which focused on Energy, Inspiration, Nourishment and Restoration.  

Honoring a Teammate

Last year’s LiveWell 5k challenge was held in honor of Valerie Handley, an InComm Payments team member and LiveWell participant we recently lost to cancer.    

In August 2024, LiveWell community members from different InComm Payments offices gathered virtually to kick off the year’s campaign, reflecting on the loved ones everyone intended to honor by participating in the challenge, including Valerie Handley. Valerie’s family and friends joined the virtual gathering to share stories about how her enthusiasm and love for fitness inspired their own wellness journeys. As a cherished member of the LiveWell community, Valerie brought an infectious smile and helpful encouragement to group activities and past 5k challenges. She remains near and dear to her teammates’ hearts, and the community continues to work together this year through the 2025 LiveWell 5k event to raise funds for SU2C to support cancer research. 

Stand Up To Cancer

SU2C is a nonprofit organization that supports promising treatments to help cancer patients. Their unique approach focuses on collaborative projects, bridging the gaps between different scientific disciplines and institutions to bring new ideas, therapies and treatment options to patients as quickly as possible. SU2C has supported more than 275 clinical trials and 3,100 researchers nationwide. Our LiveWell community was proud to partner with SU2C to support their work and drive awareness of their resource programs for cancer patients.
