How Does it Work?

Employees can contribute a pre-determined annual amount by the IRS. If an employee wants to max out the full amount, employers will divide this amount by 12 months and deduct it from the employee’s paycheck. Employers can also contribute a matched amount annually. Plus — funds expire at the end of the year, so unused funds go back to the employer.
